How to Enable Fullscreen Apps on LG V30

The LG V30 has a six-inch OLED display with curved edges and comes with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. With a display as large and gorgeous as this, there are certain apps which fail to cover the whole screen. There are some games and apps which show problems of running in fullscreen on LG V30 and are cut short by black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. The content and buttons are cut-off because of this. This can be easily fixed. Here is how to enable fullscreen apps on LG V30.

The bars appear because the aspect ratio of the phone is 18:9. All the app developers haven’t yet applied this new standard. The problem is found to be mostly with games. A feature known as App Scaling automatically solves this problem. Follow the steps below to enable fullscreen apps on LG V30.
