The basic restart is the best option when your Watch is not working properly, but sometimes the gadget can become unresponsive and if you try to restart it won’t react. In such cases, force restart will do the trick. Here is what you need to do:

  • Press and hold the Digital Crown and the side button at the same time for about 10 seconds
  • Rease the Digital Crown and the side button when the Apple logo shows up on the display.

This is simple, but keep in mind that you should not force restart your Apple Watch too often. Do this only if your device is unresponsive and the basic restart isn’t working.
