How to enable Samsung Galaxy S20/20+ Do not Disturb Mode

Enabling the Samsung Galaxy S20/S20+ Do Not Disturb Mode

Turning on the Samsung Galaxy S20/S20+ Do Not Disturb Mode is simple; you have to tap the dedicated button in the Quick Settings, and you’re done. But there is much more to this mode than you may think. You can add a schedule; if you do that, the mode will turn on and off at selected times.

Here is what you need to do:

  • Go to Settings and tap on Notifications
  • The next step is to tap on Do not disturb
  • Tap the switch to enable the feature
  • Tap Add schedule
  • You’ll have to edit or change the name of the schedule
  • Choose the days that you want
  • Tap on Start time, select the time, tap Done, click on the End time, and do the same.
  • Finally, tap on the “Save” button.

Adding Exceptions is a great way to ensure you don’t miss important messages or calls that you could expect. If you want to add them, follow the steps below:

Go to Settings > Notifications > Do not disturb. Under the part “Exceptions,” tap Calls, Messages, and conversations, then Alarms and Sounds, and make the changes you want.
