How To Jailbreak IPhone 5c (iOS 8.1.2)

How to jailbreak iPhone 5c

You will be surprised with the fact how simple jailbreaking actually is. Before you move on the tutorial, disable your antivirus software, and firewalls. You need to back up your files, and to do that, you can use iTunes or iCloud. When you are done, you’ll be ready to proceed.

Windows

In order to jailbreak your iOS device, just follow the steps, and you’ll be done in minutes.

  • You need to get a special tool called Taig Jailbreak. To download it, click here. When the file is downloaded to your computer, unzip it.
  • Connect your iPhone 5c to your computer via USB cable.
  • Now, go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode to disable Passcode.
  • Turn off Find my iPhone. To do that: click on Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone.
  • You need to launch the Taig application as administrator. To do that, right-click on the application, and choose the option: Run as administrator.
  • Taig will detect your iPhone 5c, and it should show correct firmware, which is 8.1.2.
  • There will be two checkboxes, both checked. The first one Cydia should remain checked, but untick the other one on Chinese. It is located below Cydia 1.1.16.
  • Next, click on the green button, and the jailbreak will start.
  • Your iPhone 5c will reboot when the jailbreak is completed. Go to your Home screen, and find the Cydia icon. You can start downloading the apps you want.
  • Enable Passcode and Find my iPhone.

Mac

Follow these steps:

  • You need to get a special tool called PP Jailbreak. To download it, click here. When the file is downloaded to your computer, unzip it.
  • Connect your iPhone 5c to your computer via USB cable.
  • Now, go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode to disable Passcode.
  • Turn off Find my iPhone. To do that: click on Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone.
  • Double click on the PP file, to open it. It will detect your iPhone 5s, and the correct iOS version, which is 8.1.2.
  • In the open window, you will see one checkbox. Uncheck it.
  • Next, click on the button which is located in the center of the window. You will see two new buttons, and you need to click on the one located on the right, and when you do that, the jailbreak will start.
  • When it’s done, your iPhone 5c will automatically reboot.
  • The Cydia icon will be on the Home screen.
  • Enable Passcode and Find my iPhone.
