Clear cached data

Another simple way to boost Android’s performance and make it run faster is to clear cached data. When you open an app on your device, data is automatically stored in the phone’s memory, so the next time you launch the app it will be easier for your device to access it. In other words, loading time is faster.

However, after some period of time, it will get the valuable space on your device. In addition to this, cached data may get corrupted. It is why you should clear it regularly. It is a simple process that takes just a few seconds of your time.

To clear cached data, navigate to Settings > Storage, and then tap Cached data. You will be asked if you want to clear it. Tap OK.

Boost Android’s performance by updating OS

Same as app updates are important, getting the latest version of the operating system can really change the game. If you have never done this before, expect many new features, security improvements and bug fixes.

Many people completely ignore this, thinking it will make their phones slower. However, it is not the case. If you are experiencing some issues on your phone such as occasional freezing or lag, there is a good chance it will be all fixed once you get the latest version of the OS.

Before you start with Android update, make sure to backup all your data. Also, charge your device. Make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, not mobile data.

When this is done, go to Settings, scroll down and tap About phone (About tablet, About device,.).
